felix.gille@dsi.uzh.chWhat drives the acceptance of digital health interventions? Join us for an insightful workshop that brings together expert panelists and researchers from health policy, science communication, and user design experience. This event aims to bridge the gap between academia, politics and industry, fostering collaboration to identify key drivers for the acceptance of digital health interventions.
Background
With digital health interventions at the forefront of healthcare innovation –from the implementation of Electronic Health Records for primary health data use, to the establishment of Data Spaces for secondary health data use, and the use of mobile apps to improve the management of both communicable and non communicable diseases– it has became pivotal to reflect on what drives the acceptance of digital health technologies.
Description
With the goal of enhancing the understanding of the drivers of acceptance of digital health interventions, the Digital Society Initiative at the University of Zurich is organizing a workshop in Zurich on November 20th, 2024. This workshop aims to bring together experts in policy, communication, and user design experience to discuss and outline possible answers to the following crucial questions:
- How can health policies be developed to enhance public acceptance of digital health interventions?
- What communication strategies are most effective in increasing public acceptance of digital health interventions?
- How can user design and experience be be shaped to foster public acceptance of digital health interventions?
Format
After an engaging panel discussion and presentations of the latest research, participants will dive into group activities, tackling real-world implementation challenges in digital health interventions, brainstorming and developing innovative solutions to these issues.
