Michael Baudis

Michael Baudis is a professor of bioinformatics and theoretical cancer genomics. His public "Progenetix" database is one of the most comprehensive resources for structural genome variations in cancer. He also develops standards for the exchange of genome-related research data, for example as a member of the "Global Alliance for Genomics and Health" GA4GH and ELIXIR, the European bioinformatics organization.
