Emanuele Martinelli
Emanuele Martinelli is currently a PhD candidate for the Chair of Political Philosophy at the University of Zurich. Previously, he completed his studies in philosophy (BA) and philosophy and economics (MA) in Lugano. The topic of his PhD is to research the applicability of AI technology to economic planning, with particular reference to how AI systems may tackle the limitations expressed by Hayek's knowledge problem. He is more generally interested in how recent technologies can and should impact society, human ethics, and politics. Further interests include social ontology, AI ethics, complex systems theory, blockchain technology, A-life.
